Hope your week is starting off well!
I woke up this morning and went straight to the yoga mat (after rushing around half asleep making Jason’s work lunch). I’ve been loving this quick morning yoga routine:
It’s the perfect way to wake yourself up and start the day off right.
I went to the office to get in a few solid hours of productivity before coming back home to work some more. I took a work break at home to hit the mat again for a real workout. I love the Tone It Up girls…I’m addicted to their workout videos!
I did that circuit three times and finished off with a tiny bit of lifting with my heavier weights.
In the afternoon we got some lovely visitors!
We live really close to a pond so the ducks tend to wander from house to house for their meals. These are definitely some well fed ducks. They’ll eat right out of your hand!
These mallards are absolutely gorgeous–check out that color!
For a late lunch I enjoyed salad in a way that’s new to me…
In a jar!!! If you’re curious about this, don’t worry. I plan to be doing a lot more of them and will probably do a full post dedicated to it! Such a great idea to pack a salad on the go and keep it fresh for a long time. This was my first attempt and it came out great! Inside was mixed greens, balsamic vinaigrette, carrots, bell peppers, kidney beans, mandarin oranges, dried cranberries, and roasted pecans.
I have to run…I have something VERY SPECIAL to assemble!
